They can't even cut a sister some slack and just build the cafe even one bell short.

Yeah, I'm sure 1 bell will help since ONE BELL is literally what you need.

I wonder if they can donate the last bell? I know the donate small amounts, but as it's the last bell, I think it'd never happen and the PWP would sit there until the mayor pays it off. :(

I think I've actually tried that before, and the villagers never payed off the last bell.
