Turnips from Joan

I was curious, what is the highest selling price from Joan for you to purchase turnips? I haven't done much in the stalk market, partly due to spotty play time, partly due to not wanting to take a bath when I still have a lot of landscaping and development to do in town, but I would like to eventually get my badges.

I'd love to hear what your strategies are.

I just use the guide for turnip selling and sometimes i don't get the price i'd want. It's pretty easy if you listen to the faq intently.

Anything below 100 bells is my threshold for me. Above 100 and you don't get too good of return most days, below that and you get higher returns for the most part.

I buy one from Joan the first time I see her even if the price is a bit high. I plant them in front of my house, marked with a Sea Snail shell so I won't dig it up. After a week has elapsed, I dig up the rotten turnip and get the Ant and Fly for the museum and the remains go in my trash can. Bells are already ridiculously easy to amass so I don't bother with the Stalk Market.
