I shot down a balloon rn and I got a basic display stand? I'm shook like, it's not a balloon item, and it's also a welcome amiibo item. Has this happened to anyone before?

You can get non balloon items from the balloon presents since the wa update.

Found 12 Campsite items and a lot of store items. Lost count of the store items.
It's nice to get items from the campsite that I would never buy. Adds to the catalog.
