Marmite: Love it or hate it?

I'm not sure we get it here in the states. I'd like to try it though!

I've tried it once a few years ago and if memory serves it was very salty. I had it on toast as I heard that was the way to go. I am sure it would be better in a different way but I wasn't very fond of it.

I tried it during one of my sister's foreign foods binges where she was ordering things we don't have here to try, got to try cookie butter as well and HOLY COW that was amazing!

its alright as long as there isn't too much
i understand why people don't like eating a spoonful of it ew thats hell

Yuck, too salty by it's own. Okay on toast, I guess....

Never tasted it, so I feel like my opinion doesn't really matter. But if I were to try it, I feel like i'd hate it.

That's probably why I don't like it. I slather my toast with whatever spread I'm using, and I probably did that with marmite too. :c My dad really enjoys it, so I might try it again eventually. especially since I forgot the taste.

Never heard of it until just now, I don't think it's in North America.
