Some small company I've never heard of called 'iLife' sued Nintendo because of the Wii Remote, they believed that they infringed the basic design of the Wii Remote. Apparently Nintendo now has to pay $10 Million because of this. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think Nintendo should have to pay the 10 million dollars?

That is a patent troll. Of course other companies and people will sue bigger companies for being successful.

They need to pass some laws to prevent patent trolls. It makes lawsuits illegitmate.

It seems ridiculous to sue someone for something that was released 10 years ago. If the Wiimote copies their design (or so they say it does) why didn't they do this when it was still New?

I think the lawsuit should be stopped. They're nothing but a troll.

that is weird that they waited until 2013 to file the lawsuit. maybe they couldnt afford to do it until then though. sounds like nintendo will be appealing anyhow.
