I might get another AC copy incase the one I have is damaged.

Ouch. I once salted quite hard over Pokemon Moon, and just let built-up anger get the better of me, which... resulted in a broken 3DS. I did have to pay a fairly pretty penny to send my 3DS out to Nintendo to get it fixed. They sent it right back to me, and it was working 100%, everything intact. It's best that you look into sending it in for a repair.
