Favorite Sports Teams

Sports threads never last very long but here goes.

What's your favorite sports teams and what sport and league do they play?

My favorite team is HV71, a Swedish icehockey team in the SHL (Swedish Hockey League). They won the championship finals last season after a thrilling sudden death in game 7 (almost gave me a heart attack).

I also like Newcastle United, an English football/soccer club in the Premier League. They just got promoted up last season.

BRONCOS! Pro football team in the US.

Bury FC my home football team.

Jacksonville Jaguars. We go watch 'em at Wembley every year.

My province only has two professional teams, being the national lacrosse league and the Canadian football league.

Most people haven't heard of the teams.

I also cheer for the Pittsburgh Penguins, it's much husbands favourite team.

I prefer American university football and basketball over pro sports, but I think we're talking pro sports here...

so my favorite pro hockey team is the Tampa Bay Lightning (of the NHL)...

my favorite pro baseball team is the Tampa Bay Rays of MLB...

I don't have a favorite pro football team...

my favorite pro basketball team is the San Miguel Beermen of the PBL, because beer...

my favorite pro soccer team is los Veracruz Tiburones Rojos... (they have the best-looking cheerleaders in all of Veracruz...)

Freddy Modin is the greatest Swedish hockey player Swede who ever lived...

LA Kings / LA Dodgers for hockey and baseball.

Every sports team in Texas, otherwise I don?t care about them/they can get out.

More specifically the Texas Rangers (MLB), Houston Astros (MLB), Dallas Stars (NHL), Dallas Mavericks (NBA), Houston Rockets (NBA), San Antonio Spurs (NBA), Dallas Cowboys (NFL), Houston Texans (NFL), and FC Dallas (MLS) teams.
