Actual country, stereotypical hillybilly waggling on with a banjo country music (not trying to be offensive), I'm not a fan of, but the more mellow, easy listening country songs are a guilty pleasure, I really go enjoy them.

It's... okay? Like it really depends because I've heard a lot of country music rooted in racism and sexism and all that but have heard five or so alright songs so from experience I'm not too favorable of it but overall I'm not too much of a fan either.

I don't like country music at all. It's so boring and unappealing. And it sucks because I live in Texas, so a lot of the stations here are country. Some of my favorite radio stations don't work anymore because their signal got overridden with country music stations.

You have to be more specific. There's Sam Hunt, Carrie Underwood country and then George Strait and Patsy Cline country. I like country. If it says country, I'll listen to it 24/7.

I am not a fan, we have it on at the casino, cause it loops through oldies and country and I really don't care for it. There are a few good country songs that I do enjoy. But most of it is just the same things over and over and it's irritating to listen to.

I don't like country and I don't like the culture around it either.

I don't like it. If I do listen to any of it it's the old fashioned kind. Or Taylor Swift, you know, before she became a sell out.

In general I say ew, especially the stuff that some country "artists" put out today and call music lol, but its roots are nice? I mean George Strait, Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton have good music and were clearly involved in it a lot, and had some nice music. I just feel like country music now seems to be like some person wearing flannel and a cowboy hat singing some dumb song with 10 words that someone else wrote in an accent that is way harsher than how they actually speak. So, country music, no lol.

alright okay listen you could've just said "yes i enjoy country" but i'm not some sort of country music guru that knows all the personal motifs and specifications of every country artist ever. i'm not making a thread about "tim mcgraw circa 2012" or "clint eastwood electropop" it's just country: do you like it or not? please don't make this question too difficult

I have memes to sum up my feelings.

Basically like "pop" country I like. Like I like some Carrie Underwood, and early "country-esc" Taylor Swift and that horrible Neon Light song by Blake Shelton. Those kinds of songs I can bop to, but those living in the bar, metal guitar, love my truck more than my wife songs can go die in a hole. And the Banjo Song, someone needs to kill the Banjo Song...

^Yes that I'll play the banjo song rubber something needs to die.

Yeah idk I don't like country-pop a whole lot either so yeah...

Depends. If you include classic rock with country flair and classic rock with folk elements, then totally. Lynard Skynard, Niel Young, and so on are all amazing. But if you mean the kind of stuff they play on the radio then GROSS

I love it myself. I pretty much grew up with listening to country and southern gospel. I like Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, Shania Twain, Rascal FLatts, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton and many others.

I like it. It typically has some really emotional lyrics and is pretty relaxing

There's a lot of popular songs now that use the n word and describe women like objects, it's not just country

I hate it, and everything it’s about. I prefer Jazz.

I'm not a huge fan of it, but I'm also not against it by any means, I honestly think I could learn to like it if I just found the right musician. I mean, I really like the song "9 to 5" by Dolly Parton, haha.

All they sing about is tractors, girls, Jesus, and like dead soldiers and how much they love America lol it's pretty awful.
