sooo assuming the worst:
next day: 8 town 1 third party 1 scum
that night: 7 town 1 third party 1 scum
following day: 6 town 1 third party 1 scum
following night: 5 town 1 third party 1 scum
day after that: 5 town 1 third party 1 scum
that night: 4 town 1 third party 1 scum
the next day: 3 town 1 third party 1 scum

TLDR; we ahve 4 days to hit scum
