Seasonal Residents?

I don't really link it to seasons, but yeah, I do! Sometimes I feel like having a certain villager for a little bit, but not too long because I don't like them that much, I already have a villager of that personality or I just want to try them out. Sometimes I just randomly go on the villager trading plaza to pick up any villager that's available (if I think they're okay) and then see for myself if I like them or not. It's fun to experience different villagers!

I guess Willow was a seasonal resident as she is now spending fall in my sister's town

This is my first time hearing something like this, sounds like too much work to me.
