Why do our characters frown when we look in our pockets?

Like...they're smiling and then as soon as you 'open' your pockets, they frown.
 
They're not frowning, they're thinking. They're thinking of what they'll take out of their pockets.
 
They are thinking, not frowning: "how the hell did I put a refrigerator in a skirt with no pockets?"
 
they have to burrow thru a lot of crap in their pockets to get a shovel isn't that a burden to us all

I wish we didn't frown so much - especially when changing clothes.

I'm trying to take s picture of a new outfit I don't want a photo of me frowning. :blush:
