Is this new or did I just miss this in 4 years of playing?

Currently in Robin's house and decided to take a snoop in her Gracie dresser for no reason.

The dialogue ended with "Oh. It's a lovely love seat. And it's covered in dust."
After closing the dresser she immediately noticed that I found the lovely love seat and asked if I wanted to keep it. (I said no of course... lol)

Is this new or should I snoop in my neighbour's dressers more often?

Occasionally, you can find items that the villagers will give you when you snoop in their closets. It doesn't happen all the time, but it's worth doing, when you're in their house.
