China Bans All LGBT Content on the Internet

This is not (just) about porn. This is about anything and everything that contains any LGBT content at all, including television shows and films that feature openly gay characters.

Basically, anything they consider to have "abnormal sexual behaviour" in it is going to be getting taken down, and LGBT content is included in that.

Thoughts? I'm sure it's obvious to anyone who knows me well how I feel about this atrocity.

With the way China is with its internet, I'm not surprised. They over censor everything and it's almost impossible to use. Their internet is basically just a glorified propaganda scheme, as usually only government-run websites are allowed to stay up for long. I still highly disapprove of it.

I wouldn't be surprised since China is anti-freedom when it comes to internet, but I'm glad I'm here in America.

Actually, you can, but it's so heavily censored. I remember reading about it in an article back in 2012.

This is unbelievable. So sad. They consider homosexuality abnormal? Just wow. I've completely lost my faith in humanity by now.

The sad truth is, there are people that have those thoughts even in countries like the US. My own mother considers all other sexual orientations other than straight/heterosexual to be inferior and sinful.

for someone who is apart of the LGBT community, i just don't understand.

why can't people just be who they are? i'll never understand why its such a big deal when you're not straight, cause literally other people's romantic choices don't involve you

I agree with you. Why not straight people too? I mean trans, pan, homo, bi, and many more...its all the same thing because love is equal in all shapes, forms, sizes, and colors.

Yep. Porn in general is banned in China. Straight, gay, whatever. If it's porn, it's getting banned.

But I disagree with beastiality. Loving another someone is okay as long as they're a high sentient being who understands the concept of giving consent. If not, than it should be banned and put into law.
