As you probably know, it took 5 months for one of my seven amiibo's to ping to move.
I need a simple answer from someone who knows.
If I adopt an scanned villager from another town, will I be trapped in the same way I am now, with amiibo's never, or taking half a year to ping, OR will an adopted amiibo be like a regular villager.
