Awhile back I planted some perfect peach trees (in a past town), with peaches that I had received from a friend. When the trees grew, they were all normal peach trees. Is there some special rule/thing with planting perfect fruit from other towns that I didn't know about?

Well, that makes sense. That's too bad though.
It really is, too. I'd like to have some perfect peach trees but not bad enough to restart 100x trying to get it as my native fruit.
