How to get Welcome Amiibo character pics?

Hello there,

I am asking this because I cannot find the answer anywhere: how can I get the pics from Welcome amiibo cards characters?

I could get the pictures from the amiibo figures just by asking them when they came out of the lamp, but the characters from the cards are just giving a random item. Do I have to ask eazch one of them to live in the village and befriend them / wait until Apr 1st to get a picture, or is there a quicker way?

The only way to do it is the same way you do it with regular villagers, befriend them or wait for April Fools.
