Just wondering if there were any fellow players because after about ten years of playing on and off through the years I finally completed it , I think it's still one of my favourite games I just live the storyline and all the games in it

What do you think ?

I own it but never finished it. I'll get around to it eventually. :U

This is my favorite Mario game. It is fun how high you can jump while combining flips and FLUDD's abilities. The secret platform challenges are cool too. Some of them are hard to get to with the hover nozzle. I like the challenges. My favorite is the hotel course. It is fun to clean the beach and run through the hidden paths in the rooms. I never understood why Yoshi could drown in a puddle though. Like if you jump off him while standing in the fountain in Delfino plaza. It doesn't even cover his shoes. lol

samme I just love it, the secret platform levels always had that really annoying music like they put it there on purpose just to distract you

I love the hotel levels to the episode with the casino is one of my favourites

I used to have this game and am trying to find it again, but it's pricey. It was one of my favourite games, and I hadn't finished it either. This is why I really want GameCube games on the Switch's virtual console. (and Melee.) The game play was just so fun, and the story was fun too. ♥

I really love Super Mario Sunshine, I played it years ago and still owned it. Haven't finished it though...got stuck on this underwater eel level I was scared of.

oh really I had no clue it was worth anything

Yeah. Some of the more popular GameCube games sell like they are new releases.

Melee is really expensive, and Sunshine, basically anything that's a big series.

Chibi Robo though...really pricey.

Well, I know a lot of people are ashamed of me because my favorite game in the world is Super Mario 64 and I've never played SM Sunshine before. I've just never had a desire to play it. I've seen gameplay and it looks promising enough, but not really interesting.

I was thinking about getting it for my Gamecube, but it runs about $35 on eBay, and though a lot of people say it's really good, I've never had any interest in playing it. I'm not thoroughly convinced that it would not be $35, not "wasted" per se, but just kinda thrown out the window if you know what I mean. TO be honest, there's a lot of games that other people like that I don't like; for example, newer pokemon games, Pikmin, Fire Emblem, SSB, etc.

I think a lot of people like it for the same reason that I like SM64 so much: the nostalgia factor. I'll admit, SM64 really doesn't look that great, or even play that great. But the gameplay in general is really fun; the levels, though small, are fun and interesting; and, like I mentioned, it takes me back to when I was in middle school and had like no friends at all, and I would spend my days playing N64 games. Those were some good days... and just like I grew up on N64, others grew up on GCN. I'll never judge that.

Maybe if someone could completely convince me that it is really worth the $35, I'll get it. Until then, I'm not really interested.

Had it briefly ages ago when I had those Nintendo retro consoles. It's so so much better than 64 for sure.

I enjoyed Super Mario Sunshine a lot. Right now, it's better than all of the other 3D platformers, including those PS1 and N64 platformers. In my opinion that is.

Omg I did the same exact thing, I finished the game after playing it on and off for a decade...

Was the best, kinda sad that I completed it though cause I want moar.
