Nintendogs & Cats
RF4 (Rune Factory 4)
SoS ToT (Story of Seasons Trio of Towns)
HM SV (Harvest Moon Skytree Village)
FL dlc (Fantasy Life)
Most if not all of these games require friends, street pass/tags opened gates /portals. None of which I have or figured out yet.

I have not figured out ACNLWA gate & FL portal

You don't know how to use the gate on New Leaf? It's not overly difficult.
