What themes did you choose for your rooms?

I just did a zen room, kitchen, bath, cafe, kid's room and my bedrooms. C: they aren't terribly unique but I love them to pieces anyway!

I have:
-Living Room for Main Room.
-Kitchen.
-Penthouse.
-Entertainment Room (Mayor Room)
-Office.
-Casino.

- garden
- cozy cabin
- study/lounge
- Asian inspired room
- nautical themed basement tv room
- upstairs appartement.
:)

The mayor character has mini-cafe in the main room, kitchen at the back, garden with a camping area and living room on the left and right rooms, bedroom on the second floor and the mayor's office at the basement. Pretty much what you see inside an actual home.

My second character is a doctor who owns a commercial establishment so she has a mini-hospital/clinic in the main room, then a beauty salon at the back since she's fond of styling her hair, make-ups and all that kind of stuff, then she has her own bathroom on the second floor, the asian-themed restaurant and office are renting the space on the left and right rooms as well the music lounge at the basement.

My third character is a kid so her main room is Christmas-themed to give a cheerful vibe, then she has a nursery room at the back, the galaxy/space-themed bedroom on the left and the creepy, witch-themed room on the right shows her playful and creative side. The second floor has her private classroom then an arcade room at the basement where you can see chairs and tables to relax and have snacks.

My mayor has the only 'finished' house, overall I'm going for a very natural house, full of plants that's supposed to have a very comforting feel to it.
-Main room is a cozy lounge room
-Left, a courtyard area
-Right, Library with a secret room
-Top floor, prehistoric bathroom
-Basement is a bedroom but I'm thinking of making it into a kitchen/bedroom area. Not sure yet.

My mayor doesn't have a theme! I guess you could say her theme is collecting her (my) favorite furniture sets, but yeah, there's not a cohesive theme. However, my side characters do have themes!

Luna's is hotel themed, so there's a lobby, restaurant, cafe/library, a spa, and a bedroom. There's no overall theme to her hotel though, but I guess it's got a natural vibe to it?

Daffodil's is just a cutesy style family house with some Japanese elements. She has a living room, bedroom (with a kitchen, study area, and vanity/closet area), a bathroom/laundry room, and a bonsai room!

Not what you are after, but my 'theme' is feng shui and all my houses in all my towns are set up this way.
So they all look similar, I've tried to make them individual by using different w/p & carpets and placed different items where I can. With the update that has been made a little easier, partly as you can hang clothes on the wall.

Does it have any effect in game - can't really tell as I have no non feng shui house or town. But I don't think it has much effect, so rather pointless I suppose. I can gain 150k points fairly easily so get the gold house model.
But can't do the theme challenges, well I haven't tried, a goal for the future!

Living room is currently the complete egg set but I want to change this to a gentleman's study.

The room to the left is a traditional bathroom.

The room to the right is currently thrush set but I want to change this to a garden Room.

The back room is a Monster Hunter room.

The basement is a modern kitchen.

Upstairs is a bedroom with Nat's bug theme.

My Cherish town.

Gracie room
Blather's library
Reese and Cyrus bedroom
Booker and Copper living room
Dr. Shrunk bedroom
Brewsters kitchen

Butterfly bedroom
Harvey's groovy bedroom
Icecream parlor
Jester Birthday
Cozy room for dogs
music classroom

Bronco livingroom
Superman bedroom
Mario bedroom
Italian Pizza parlor
Nooks loans/bank
Cozy bar

Kappn's cabin
Hawaiin kitchen
pirate bar
Rubber ducky bathroom
tropical/ fish bedroom
A store that sells suits and surf boards.

I want to let my house look like a more or less normal house. The special thing about it: It's a witches house. So everything is a bit darker. I have a living room, a bedroom, a kitchen, a bath, a eating room and a random hobby room.

My second character has a garden + bedroom theme in one room and uhh I can't think of the right term... something like Sophie's room from Howl's Moving Castle (sewing machine, hats, etc).

Before I reset my town, my mayor's room was pretty much a 'Whitney Shrine' (pics of Whitney everywhere).

Since I only have the main room and the upstairs room, the house is kinda cluttered with random items, though I do have theme plans for when I upgrade everything:

The main room will be like a waiting room, like in an office.
Upstairs will be modeled after Armin Arlet's tastes, with a study-like motif mixed in with classic furniture.
room on the right will be the modern room, just because I love that black and grey square pattern so much.
The left will either be a training gym or the kitchen. Either way, it's gonna be great.
The basement will be outdoors-y, having the feel of hiding in the bushes or hunting.
The back room might just be my shark room/ ocean themed room. (I gotta show off my shark king-ness somehow!)

My living room is mushroom themed, room on right the kitchen, room on left bathroom/laundry room, back room Christmas room, basement is a mess I don't know what I'm going to do with it lol, and my upstairs is my bedroom ^^

My second villager's house is for showcasing different furniture sets besides the upstairs -that's his bedroom. I made the second villager after my bf (same name and style) so I designed the upstairs bedroom to look like his bedroom before we moved in together and merged our styles. But in that house the living room is ice themed, the basement will be spooky, and I want the egg theme definitely (it's so cute!).

I have a classic-themed main room with a fossil as a centerpiece.
cabana-themed bathroom/guest room
southern-style ranch kitchen (Florida vibes)
a nautical english pub, with the dark green set, complimented with red/black checkered patterns
a chill, modern bedroom, with the gray minimalist set and cool lighting
and a classy/vintage-styled den/library in the basement.

main room- gryffindor common room
back room - country kitchen
left room - zen bathroom
right room - space themed shark room
i haven't gotten my basement yet but i'm planning to do a basement studio apartment with either a sloppy or sleek theme.

in my museum i'm planning a ice cream/bakery, a seafood restaurant and some closet space.

At the moment, I only have one room in my mayor's home so i'd say the theme that i'm going for with that one room right now is kind of a tropical kitchen/living room with different colour palettes on some of the furniture pieces to make it look more fun.
