now read this first before you vote:

I aint talking bout Asian food, or Cajun food, or rice that goes with redeye gravy.

I'm talking about Latino food, and this Very Important Question is tearing my home state apart.

which kind of rice goes best with your black beans, with your mojo roast pork, with your picadillo, with your ropa vieja?:

arroz amarillo

or

arroz blanco

This one is better

But if i had to get on topic with the poll , White Rice

Definitely amarillo. Arroz con pollo/carne is perfection with yellow rice. But with frijoles, gonna go with white rice.

Arroz Amarillo.
For lack of a better descriptor, it's "softer" than white rice, and is less invasive to other flavors of a dish.
That being said, I do appreciate the versatility and cost effectiveness of arroz blanco.

I prefer yellow rice but I like both. However, when I was in Costa Rica two years ago, pretty much everything we could eat there was white rice, which got old fast.

Arroz Blanco con Frijoles o Mole. :lemon:

Yellow Rice is nice, but I prefer White Rice. :D
