Monkeys can't be found in the city?

Usually when character models aren't around it has something to do with their polygon count, or their "bodies" clipping into objects. Since then, monkeys had the longest tails (I believe they still do) I would assume it would be because their tails would clip through objects?
I play CF. a few times a week and have kept this town over a year.
I haven't gotten a monkey villager yet. I don't the no I ever had one in CF.
I've seen some great villagers in the city - Teddy ... Francine ... I love how different they all look in CF
