Hey guys I'm new here. I've been looking around the forums and have been seeing some abbreviations I don't recognize. Can someone give me a quick run down on how some of that? Like what is TBT and IBG? How does the currency work around this place? Any general advice for a noob would be great.

TBT is the forum currency, you earn it by posting and can use it to buy collectables/add-ons in the shop! IGB refers to in-game bells. Otherwise, welcome to the forum!

I've just joined as well! Welcome!

Be great to hear how you actually trade TBT with other players obviously IGB is in game... yeah the interface is a bit confusing :

ok so where you see currency at the top you click that and go to bells it'll say To Account you change that to the member you want to give stuff to and hit send

You can also click on the number of bells displayed on the recipient's sidebar to pull up the transfer menu with that member already selected.
