I was thinking about getting the new zelda amiibos even though i don't have the game but i wonder if they work on the animal crossing game, and if they do, do they bring new characters to the game or not?

But look at the compatible games list at the official amiibo website. ACNL Is in the list, so they shoud work i guess. My question still is, what characters do they bring in the game...
