My town is about 60% completed now so I feel comfortable sharing it with the tbt community!

I really don't think any of my pathing is going to be changed with the exception of getting extra details on it (like leaves in the water and darker paths for the inside of plazas).

The only thing I need to work on is boxing in my poor villagers and interrogating then until they allow me to add more pwp's ^-^ (Don't worry I love my villagers and would never do such a thing)

My flowers also look like someone who desperately needed to get a perfect town status so they currently have no colour scheme and I'm entirely open to suggestions for each 'section' of my town!
My town is also going to have different bushes for each area, so if people could leave suggestions about them and the flowers that'd be superb!!!

All and all I'd just love people to have a look around and let me know what they think of my town. I'm really interested to know of other peoples opinions this late in Polis's development.

Omg your town is amazing!!! I really liked how you've got lots of narrow entrances to different pwps and areas like your town Plaza. One thing I admire about your town which I might do more is how you split your town so it's not linked in a loop with paths and instead you need to go through your whole town to reach certain points. I think I might revisit your town and use the inspiration I take from it to further develop mine!

Loved your town! (i'm going to guess that you're a fan of birds.) The paths were very uniform and professional looking, and it had a very modern feel with the art PWP's, lamps, and town hall renovation. :)

Your main house was put together really well, enjoyed looking at all the effort you put into renovating items and matching them with other rare furniture. (I would love to get my hands on the felyne villager, all the sweet monster hunter items, and the tea set you have in your left hand room!)

The only thing that bugged me about your town was all the stuff buried in the ground. I felt it took away from the clean and professional look you have going...

I've actually been doing some huge landscaping in my town and have moved my northern most bridge so it's just below joeys house and I've been changing my shrubs around so they fill in between the trees more.

I'm really happy you like my house! My favorite room used to be my modern silver upstairs but I think I really like what I've done with my rococo room to the left. I find it funny because almost all of my rooms I sourced the furniture myself over my last 5 towns (back from 2013...). I think I might search for more specialised items on tbt to make them look better!

Also I hope you realise my shrine to Joey (the downstairs room (it should be obvious though, lol)) is far from being finished and will be amazing when I complete it!!! (He's my fav tied in with Felyne ^-^)

I'm sorry you had to see fossils and maybe some bamboo shoots? I've been taking raw snapshots of my town for the dream suite and haven't done really any preparation for someone visiting it... I'll make sure to tidy up when I upload my next dream!!!

That's one of the few items I didn't source myself, lol. It was gifted to me from someone, I do know it's a welcome amiibo item. I'll look up where to get it when I get home.

I've just completed another Town update!

It's super messy but a few things have been changed, like my awesome lighthouse by the docks! (Gotta guide Kapp'n at night!!!)
 
I'm looking at your town right now and first off I absolutely love your paths and I can see that your still clearly working on some of the placements in the town. The time of dusk/night is cool too, not too dark yet but still giving the feeling that the busy day is done.
I'm guessing you'll be putting some paths down to the bottom bit of the bridge on the left hand side sometime soon.

The cube PWP looks really amazing against those tiles and the lighthouse is in an amazing location.
To the left of Micheal's house you have the path that goes down to a dead end...are you going to put anything there? Otherwise I think it would look better if it stops where the water path curves off and add some flowers or bushes there. It just looks a little odd at the moment.

Yay! Thank you so much for dreaming! I'm happy that you realised my town isn't finished and is quite messy.

The area below Joeys house is going to be my camping area so I'm going to add clovers and some subtle pathing there when my 3rd character gets the QR machine.

I'm also happy you liked my lighthouse and cube sculpture! The cube sculpture used to have finished bushes around it but I was rethinking that area.

As for the path by my house I'm still on the fence as to what should go there. I tried pulling the path up ages ago but it looked weird for some reason. Maybe you can suggest something ^-^

I've got lots of work to do but it's coming along nicely I think ^-^

really good job so far, i think your path compliments the name "Polis" and it also helps with the modern theme you're going with i think. and your plant placement is going well. i don't like where Joey is though, he's not in the worst spot but he does block what you're going for a little bit plus i don't like how he's close to the bridge. other than that, your town is very easy to walk through. i think your bamboos blend in with your theme and most of them are in good spots. i really like the hot spring but i would've took advantage of it (or any other pwp) and put it somewhere else; somewhere that has a lot of space so you can circle it with bamboos and shoots. i think that would've look great however it's still in a nice spot and fits in and i don't know if you could have put it anywhere else.
your houses are in great spots, no concern with them. the way you designed the outside of Polly's house is impressive but it's a shame that you couldn't fit that last cedar in since it's too near to the cliff, it's not really noticeable though.
Michael's house is satisfying, a nice design and i love the rococo room. relaxing, the furniture placement is great and you have a lot of good items in there.
i personally prefer realistic houses and the kitchen is good but i also would have added a bathroom. i think any design of a bathroom could look really good and if you ever consider this i suggest doing a theme like this:

the flower placement is OK, nothing really has a pattern and sometimes they're in random places. i think you should order them and it'll make improve your town significantly.
the caf? is in a lovely place and i would add another two trees on the left side of it. i think these pwp's would look good for a modern theme:
-wood bench, metal bench & modern bench
-modern clock
-statue fountain
-topiaries
-zen garden
-parabolic antenna
-tower
-wind turbine

that's all i have i think, sorry if i'm being a bit picky and i'm not very good at reviewing towns but i hope i helped! i also think once you're around 80% done i think it's going to look amazing

TYSM!!! That review will help me out lots! I never considered moving Joey because he's been there since day one and I just adore him so much, but because I have his amiibo now I should move him to a more reasonable spot. Regarding my houses both Polly and Rosalind are planned to have more realistic houses. My house is more a collection that I made over the last four years of New Leaf, that I now proudly display in my home.

My pwps I'm moving everyday just about... I've got huge plans for areas in my town but I'm waiting on shoot and sapling orders to finish them. I kinda want to move my hot spring now... maybe ill chuck it in the middle of the path and make retail a bit more natural and zen?

Also as I said in my first post my flowers are super messy and gross, 100% not final.

Anyway thanks again for the feedback, I'll post here again when I've made another update!

Thank you so much! I'll be posting here everyone I update it!

So far I've been redoing the park below the train station and I've removed the dead end path below my house.

I'm not too sure if I'll end up moving Joey or my hot spring, I keep walking past and end up liking them... but I'll see later on!
