Notifications for my own likes?

Sometimes, I get notifications when I like a post.. Why is that? It's not like I forget that I've liked a post only 2 seconds after I did. Haha. I just thought it was weird. And I get so excited that I might've gotten a message or something, and NOPE. I just liked a post 2 seconds ago, and apparently I need to be reminded. Does anybody know why this happens? It isn't consistent, so is it a glitch?

Oh yeah this happens to me too. I get excited that someone messaged me and then I see it's for my own like :'D

Not much use for if you still want to be notified about others liking your posts.

It's probably some bug in the system, or just a really weird design.
