are you talking the little square image thingies on the sidebar?
if so, you buy those in the shop with tbt (forum currency you get by posting, but can also receive through selling stuff like art or in-game items, and etc), participate in forum events/contests, or juts trade/buy from another user on the site

did you checkout your cart?
if so, then check inventory tab in the shop. maybe they got hidden
I mean unless it's a valentine's rose you bought. since those can only be gifted iirc, and won't show up in the sidebar otherwise
