I agree with these but I'd add Diana to that as well.
Lazy: Zucker or Clyde
Cranky: Murphy or Monty
Jock: Scoot
Smug: Julian or Marshal
Normal: Chelsea, Gala, Melba, Skye, or Merengue
Peppy: Bluebear, Chrissy, Cookie, maybe Tutu?
Snooty: Diana, or Eloise
Uchi: Canberra or Hazel, maybe Pashmina?
One of each probably and then two extras, whichever you like most

One who may be a good choice, I don?t recall seeing mentioned, is the Peppy squirrel Peanut.
Ones who stood out to me, and were already mentioned, include Meringue and Diana. (I have them both in town ACNLpics. That town is actually zen.)
