I just need a minute or two of your time to help me decide on a town name. I don't really have a theme set in mind but I wanted something whimsical and dreamy and came up with these few:

♡Starlust
♡Laguna
♡Moonlime
♡Carousel

Also, feel free to share some of your ideas or opinions!

Carousel is a such a cute name for a town.

Yes. I agree. And, it looks like a lot of other people agree as well!
Will you choose Carousel as your town name, planetvirgo?

Aubade(n): A love song sung at dawn
Metanoia(n); The journey of changing one’s mind, heart, self, or way of life
Viridity(n): Naive, innocence
Komorebi(n): sunlight filtering though trees
Meraki(n); The soul, creativity, or love put into something; the essence of yourself that is put into your work

I like these. :)

All of them are great and have a dreamy feel to them but I think I like Moonlime best. Have fun in the new town!

I like Moonlime. Starlust is questionable, Carousel seems like it would be overused, and Laguna was such a twit in FFVIII.

I really like actual words for town names, so I'm going with Carousel. Laguna sounds a little too oceany for a town without a theme, but if you want to go for a mermaid theme Laguna would be perfect.

Laguna! The moment I saw that in the poll it just clicked. I've seen a lot of towns called Carousel already, but I don't think I've ever seen one called Laguna. I think it's beautiful and quite different, you don't even need an ocean theme to match it if you want to use it, because the name itself sounds very far away and exotic. I think it's great!

I love the sound of Laguna! Even if you don't have a definite theme, it just sounds so pretty and magical ^_^ I've already seen a few towns called carousel so even though it does sound cute, it wouldn't be the most original choice in my opinion. But it's up to you! <3

I like Starlust a lot, as well as Moonlime. I feel like a town named Laguna would be a water the named/based town, and a town named Carousel would be a kid or theme park based town with toys and things ya know? Think about the theme of your town and decide.

Laguna. Your town doesn't have to be mermaid themed or underwater themed.. it's already a town by the beach.
Carousel seems done already. Moonlime is unique but not sure about the lime part. Starlust.. is cute but the lust part just makes me think of something else? D: Lol

Thank-you everyone, I really appreciate your thought! I ended up going with Laguna and I'm quite happy about it, especially since I actually do live on an island (not the tropical kind) and it's nice to have something about me related to my town.

I'm in the minority that prefers Starlust. Tbh I think it sounds more whimsical than the other names and idk, I just like it the most, I can't really explain why I just do.

Rip, I just read you went with Laguna, which sounds really good and from your post it seems most personal to you, so that makes it a lot better than the others.
