Need Help/Advice (Cycling)

I know how to cycle villagers and my method works really quickly but it doesn't give time to see who is gonna move before they end up in boxes. I would use my method but I have Marshal and I really don't want him to leave. Anybody have a method that is the least time consuming and where I can choose who leaves or stays?
