Arguments online.

I probably have when I was a lot younger but I can't really remember a time when I did. I hate confrontation so much tho >.<

Oh yeah, and the time I had an argument about bombing snakes to stop them invading Florida

And it was completely serious
How, I don't know

Fun times

yeah, i used to get in arguments all the time. i still look back on the things i argued over and cringe.

Pretty much this.

I'll sometimes take an unpopular stance on a topic (that in reality I don't even care about) just to see how people react to it and how well I can defend it.

I did this once, in a "rights for insects" thread, a while ago. XD
People got upset.

I don't think I won, nope.

Of course I got into some. I was even brutal about it when I was on GameFAQs. I try to avoid these, but once someone starts an argument with me, I fight back.

An example of this was that I was upset at one user for using extreme bias to insult the Republican Party and being rigid about it, then accused me of hypocrisy when I'm not a hypocrite. He was even a bully about it, and instead of admitting his guilt, he called me the bully when I was defending myself from him. He even said "grow some thick skin" when my feelings were hurt by some internet guy. You can't tell me to not care about what people on the internet say about you. I have every right to be insecure about online users being offensive towards me. Of course it is a personality flaw to be insecure, and normally I don't get insecure, but that guy was too strong and biased. Not only that, but GameFAQs forums are basically lawless, and the only ones who do get punished for trolling or flaming are the users with less than 1,000 karma. It's a good thing I quit GameFAQs forums once again to return here. I'll promise not to act like this here. Of course, I got into arguments with other members on this site too, but normally I don't start fights.

I try not too, I just think that there's not enough time to get involved in little arguments. If it's a civilised political debate, maybe. But if it's about something different I'll type a really long post out and then click cancel.
Usually all the threads here that are going to go badly I won't bother posting in them.

Many, I use it as a way to mentally punish myself haha

I've gotten into an argument with another TBT user over them not liking what I post in my blogtree. A few months later I got into another argument with the same user when I was maturely expressing my feelings like an adult so the user got all angry and made a big song and dance over nothing lmao!

Wow, really?
That's kinda sad.

Every English speaking chatroom and forum I've been to accused me of being a Nazi, especially when I'm writing to fellow German speakers. Mostly by ignorant Americans and British people.

Yeah, Americans especially, they are some of the nastiest people on the internet, but most of them are lovely like the people on these forums, the same can be said for the Brits, their rude to me because I'm Irish but they're not as awful compared to Americans, Americans use slang all the time so maybe that's why I get annoyed by them. Americans are the majority on social media too, so that's why they get the bad rep and generalization.

I like how I started nearly every sentence, with Americans.
I feel like Donald Trump, but only his is "China/Chinese"

In relation to here, I've had very few bad experiences with people. In fact, this has been the most wonderful and kind community I've ever been part of online, which is saying a lot. I've been in heated debates before, as I'm sure everyone has been at one point or another, but that's about it.

I don't think I socialise enough with people here for it. I can only think of maybe one or two people I've had serious, real trouble with, one of which was someone uncontrollably jealous of the "attention" I got when David Bowie died (a lot of people very kindly messaged me wishing me well, which was really overwhelming), and another guy who called me an extremely homophobic term and now just lurks and frequently pretends he's quitting in the most dramatic way possible, before returning two or three (at the most) days later.

But overall, no! People here are very nice and I wouldn't still be here if I thought otherwise.

I used to get in a bunch and I would get so rattled and shaky over them, even if it was a stranger. Now I couldn't be bothered. I have better things to do xp
