I'm sure I'm not the only one who's had a 'main weapon'. I had watched a YouTube video about maining weapons by ThatSRB2Dude, and he had said that the idea of maining weapons came from Smash players who main characters and applied the concept to Splatoon.
I don't entirely disagree with him on that. Smash did get me accustomed to having a go-to character, and a secondary as a fallback of sorts. But in my opinion, I'm okay with mains. Maining a weapon doesn't mean you have to only use that particular weapon only, and that it can't change. It just means that there's one weapon, like a character, that you find particularly favorable and that you have the most experience with as a result.
But what do you think? Does maining a weapon make sense for Splatoon? Should it be one for all or all for all? Do you have a main and secondary weapon? What are they?
