Tokyo Mirage Sessions#FE

I'm too broke, so I'll have to wait for the first paycheck of my new job to come in, whenever that happens to be. I haven't started yet, but I'm pumped by the idea that I could have a stable income again.

what's the fortissimo edition?

Yes I'll be getting it for sure. I'm have the money but I'm trying to save up so it'll have to wait till the holidays but I'm VERY excited!

Honestly the more I saw of the game, the least interested I was. I'll probably wait for a decent sale or something.

I'm quite broke, at the moment, as well. Although, I do want to get this game at some point. Either I'll grab it on sale at some point or I'll wait until the Holidays to purchase this game.

Eh I don't have a Wii U so no use for me, even though I love both of the games in general.

I am interested because the art for this game is very pretty. What is it about though?

Setting and characters[edit]
Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE is set in modern-day Tokyo, Japan. The story moves between multiple well-known city districts such as Shibuya and Harajuku.[11] In the universe of Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE, everyone holds an energy called Performa that enables them to pursue their dreams. Performa attracts beings called Mirages, who hail from an alternate dimension called the Idolosphere: while some Mirages harvest Performa for evil motives, others form alliances with humans to protect the real world. Those who form alliances with friendly Mirages are referred to as Mirage Masters. The main cast are employees and associates of Fortuna Entertainment, a talent agency that secretly acts as a hub and recruiting organization for Mirage Masters.[5][12]

The main protagonist is Itsuki Aoi,[a] a young boy who becomes involved with Fortuna Entertainment by chance, and is initially uninterested in the business. The other human main characters are Tsubasa Oribe, an optimistic and hard-working classmate of Itsuki who seeks to become a pop idol; Toma Akagi,[c] an impulsive friend of Itsuki and Tsubasa working to become an actor in a tokusatsu show; Kiria Kurono,[d] a famous idol and veteran Mirage Master; Eleonora Yumizuru,[e] a successful half-white actress; Mamori Minamoto,[f] a cooking show host with a taste for Shōwa period clothing and music; and Yashiro Tsurugi,[g] a superstar male idol who is initially hostile towards the party and their ambitions. The group are aided by Maiko Shimazaki,[h] a former Gravure idol who is the head of Fortuna Entertainment; and Barry Goodman, a strict instructor from overseas with a love of otaku culture.[13][14][15] The Mirages who ally with the Mirage Masters are Chrom, Virion and Tharja from Fire Emblem Awakening, and Caeda, Cain, Draug and Navarre from Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light. A different Mirage is Tiki, who provides assistance to the Mirage Masters and is portrayed in the real world as a popular vocaloid.[13][14][16]

Plot[edit]
The game takes place in Tokyo, following the lives of the young members of the Fortuna Entertainment talent agency. These youths become "Mirage Masters", who have the power to merge with Mirages, souls of warriors from another world, such as Chrom. While some Mirages are kind-hearted and help out the Mirage Masters, others seek to cause chaos and draw power from the emotions of innocent people, and it is up to the Mirage Masters to stop them.
I got this from wikipedia btw

I preordered mine the other day but I have to wait a week for it to ship. Makes a lot of sense :/

How far back is "the other day"? Depending on when it was, they may have needed some extra time to prepare. I will get this in two to three weeks, I hope. Not sure when my first paycheck at this new job is going to be, since I literally start tomorrow.

"Other day" was Wednesday, two days before release. They said it would arrive Thursday at the earliest, nearly a week after it came out. Then when it was shipped it said Monday instead.

Doesn't matter though, I got it today and am playing it now. Loving it so far <3

I don't have a Wii U, but it looks pretty cool. I would buy it if it were in the ds.

Im glad you finally got to play it!

Considering on getting this but not sure if it's really worth paying $75 plus tax for. ._. Splatoon was bad enough at $70 plus tax but at least I knew I'd love it since I played the testfire demo thing.

Worst case senario I'll wait for a price drop/sale. There's other more important things I'd like to buy right now.
