amiibo Festival How do you save external home designs from HHD to amiibo cards for AFestival?

Can anyone help me? The official website said if you save the data you can bring your external home design into the game to customize the board but how do you save the external part of the home to the amiibo card? I'd love to decorate the board with my designs and see how cool they look on the Wii u.

First, only villagers you have amiibo cards for can be customized and then put onto this board game.
After you have designed a villagers home to your liking and saved it, the next day or any day you can use the amiibo phone, and use UPDATE CLIENT INFORMATION, tap the card and boom it'll save the home to that card.
Once you enter Amiibo Festival you then choose from Llyoid the option move villager in, tap the villagers card, choose the spot you want the villager to live and BOOM! there's your home exterior you made in HHD.
