New Leaf is the first Animal Crossing game I have ever played. I just discovered it right before Christmas last year when I was trying to find something to play on my new 3DS XL. I was immediately addicted. And being recently retired meant that I had plenty of time to devote to my new addiction!
I'm not in an area where I am able to streetpass, or maybe I'm just too late starting the game and everyone around here has already moved on to other things. So when I recently discovered this site while searching for something AC related, I thought it would be nice to chat with other players and maybe share items or villagers.
I'm also looking forward to HHD because I love designing rooms, but I can't see it replacing this game as I love to roam around chatting to villagers, plus I find it so relaxing to spend time fishing. Hope to make lots of new friends here!
