I don't get why people do this. Having one account is fair and square.

Maybe they have multiple personality disorder. Or they could abuse the TBT system. Or they are trying to dodge bans. Or, they are trying to lower their notoriety after getting negative wi-fi ratings or bad reputation on this site. The last three I said are the bad reasons to create a second account, but if you are creating a second account and not for those reasons, there's no reason to have another account.
If you want to know why the user "geico" was banned, it's because Bell Tree's site staff doesn't want their car insurance.
