The princess ruled her kingdom with cruelty and she had no pity for her subjects. Many of these citizens suffered from a lack of food or shelter. As long as she was happy, she left them in peace. However, if they angered her, she would ensure that they suffered for their disloyalty to her. If the princess was jealous of them, she would take everything they owned. If they refused to do as she said, she'd execute the people they knew and loved.

As the princess grew increasingly corrupted and evil, the people became more and more angry. An uprising was coming, and some of the oppressed citizens were prepared to fight. These people were the Insurgents, and caused concern among those loyal to the ruler, known as the Royals. A rebellion was coming. As people began choosing sides, it became harder to know who to trust. Both sides had individuals capable of shifting into a certain animal.
The Royals had a clear advantage due to their wealth and weapons, but things were about to change. Some of the residents of the kingdom were Mages, possessing great powers far beyond the magic the princess new of. They were ready to stand up for what they believed to be right, but whose side were they really on?
Beyond the meadows surrounding Allemantheia lies a dense, dark forest. These mysterious woods serve as a meeting place for mages invoking powerful magic. The river rushing through the forest is said to be the source of the mages' magic, and the magic of the woods themselves. The twisted trees conceal many secrets, so anyone exploring this mysterious world should be wary of danger...

Powers: Alchemy (the ability to turn objects to gold). He can also alter his appearance to match any person he has come into physical contact with. However, this drains his energy very quickly and transfers it to the person he is impersonating.

She's very violent and extremely impatient. She also angers easily. On the outside she is a hard nut to crack, but if you get close to her she completely changes. She is extremely friendly to the Royals however. She consumes the souls of her victims when she kills them, be it animal or human.
Powers (no shifters, max 2 powers): Uses her orb as a magical weapon. What it does is go through people's bodies to inflict damage to them. She also has a sort of manipulation when her eyes glow purple, you become unable to look away or control yourself. (Up to you if it works on you or not.)
Talents: Able to instantly switch between appearances. She's also fast and flexible like a fox, however she cannot shift into an animal.
Flaws: Uncontrollable at times, her other appearances give no power whatsoever. They are only for looks. She's also physically weak, so without her magic she is useless.

Despite his seriousness and hate of annoying people, he has moments were he will skip around like a complete fool and sing to himself. Masochistic and likes playing with corpses. The kingdom of Allemantheia is beautifully ornate with a towering castle in which the evil princess rests. The city that is below it is divided against the rich and the poor, since the princess believed that the two classes should never have the chance to mix. The left side houses the upper class, the Royals. The Royal District houses are in mint condition and appear to be new. There are fancy restaurants and bars everywhere to suit and keep the Royals happy and on the Princess' side. On the right side is the run down Insurgent District. Their housing conditions are clearly worse and there are barely any businesses alive here because of funding. Their housing appear old and run down due to their social status.
Beyond the kingdom lies the meadows, also known as the Allemantheia outskirts. This is where people go to get out of the kingdom every once in a while. The grasses are green and there are rivers and hills everywhere. Off in the distance you can see the forest. People go out here to hunt for food, specifically the Insurgents because they cannot afford to buy food themselves.

- The story told in the prologue is just one plot; you don't need to follow it at all times. If you want to stray from the original plot with your own storyline, go ahead. Creating your own subplots is encouraged.
- No God-modding. If you want to manipulate someone in any way, you must first ask for their permission.

Byakuran is fiercely loyal to the princess, although sometimes his mind... will wander.

Personality: Very serious. Doesn't like jokes, and while most of the time he tolerates things that irritate him easily, on certain occasions he will get angry at small things. Fairly violent, but not to a "Everything I see shall burn a brutal, slow, death." extent.
Despite his seriousness and hate of annoying people, he has moments were he will skip around like a complete fool and sing to himself. Masochistic and likes playing with corpses. Likes playing around with his magic, causing those strange results. Don't be surprised if you see a man covered in nails or the like, that's probably him after trying to use nails with magic.
