No she isn't a princess or any royalty of any kind. In the same way that Mario isn't ever going to be a king or prince of the Mushroom Kingdom, even though he has saved it enough times to be something more then a lowly plumber. Not ever female in Smash and or Nintendo has to be of a high upbrigning.
