Wow, that purple sky... and those huge clouds... I've seen neither of those in my town before... do they show up at specific times of the day and year?
 
Those large cloud are Cumulonimbus clouds and are known throughout the month of August :)
Im not sure if there is a specific time frame but I've seen them now and again on my journeys around my town.

I had my first Rainbow today in Azure so I'll get those pictures uploaded very soon. Love those pictures you've shared, that orange sky is simply amazing!! That Rainbow is very vibrant too, what a lovely picture!!
 
Aww, I was going to use the Cumulonimbus clouds screenshot but it looks like you beat me to it. :) They look like giant marshmallows squished together into one huge cloud, which is pretty awesome.
 
I love the sky in this game! Someone needs to post the auroras! Love them!

I do indeed! :blush: My entire town is covered in white and purple flowers, though lately I've been thinking about taking out the purple and replacing them with more white.
Me too, the aurora is so beautiful! It's definitely my favourite part of winter in ACNL!
