Can the scorpian spawn on paths?

I'm pretty sure they can! I'll try and test it out tomorrow for myself.

From what I've heard though, I think they can!
 
Yep, they can. >.<;;; But if you're not finding any, that's just because they're super rare. Definitely refresh often, either by saving and continuing or walking in and out of buildings. You should find one eventually.

They spawn anywhere where there is space. In CF I've seen them on the beach. They are rare though so don't expect to find one in a day.

This month i have found a tarantula and Scorpion. I was just pulling out my net and the despawn XD
 
for me they tend to spawn later at night. i saw like 3 scorpions at around 1-2 am... but i already caught a scorpion, so i didn't feel like risking getting attacked again. <_<
 
I've seen three tarantulas and each rime they bit me... they're so scary, they practically give me a heart attack
 
It took me ages to find one and then suddenly I was seeing 2 or 3 a night, they must know you're looking lol :3
