In several political issues, there is a middle ground. You can support overturning Roe v Wade without supporting a national abortion ban. You can support recycling and renewable energy without supporting bans on meat and single-use plastics. It’s also possible to take the middle ground on stuff like socialism and political correctness. However, there are a few issues where there is no middle ground. And one of them is the Israel-Palestine conflict. Due to the complexity of the issue, it’s either you’re for Israel or for Palestine.

Currently taking out my Christmas decorations. Christmas is really a big holiday, we have so much stuff.
Also, the returned of these curse things.
They're cup coasters and I don't know why. They're thin as paper (but feel like cardboard) and..just look at them.

Looks like the adverts you would see on Nickelodeon during its weird phase.

It's officially hot chocolate season!! 😃
November is almost over. It's so funky how time flies. 2024 is almost here.
I remember before 2012 about how people would try to theorize what 2020 or 2025 would be like. They seemed like far away numbers. I think the next set looked at are 2050 and 2100.
I may not be around for those though. Well maybe the first. Maybe. But definitely not the second.
Could you imagine 2095 or 2190? 2147? They look funky.

i miss when sam's club used to have physical receipts before covid. employees checking off everything on your receipt with those big ass sharpie highlighters was an essential part of the sam's club ✨experience✨

Waterfalling is disgusting. It's not any cleaner than drinking it straight from the bottle, because when you drink water, it's going to have your germs in it regardless.

You know how this site doesn’t allow trash talking other sites, including Animal Crossing fansites. Well, I just thought of something.

If I ever run a business, like a restaurant or a ride simulator theater (yes, this is one of my ideas), then I will implement a company policy where you are not allowed to show disrespect towards other companies, which also includes product destruction from other companies in response to their views. For instance, some people burned their own crocs shoes and posted a video of them doing it because the company Crocs embraced drag performances. If they were working for me at the time, I would fire them for burning their shoes. It’s okay to disagree with a company for having different views, but you’ll need to be respectful about it.

The people in the back of my bus need to be put in a mental institution. Scratch that, half the people on this bus are clinically insane.

I’m trying to name every 40-month era from the 21st century. Here’s what I thought of for the mid-2010s (2013-2016):

The Frozen New Leaf Years. Named after Disney’s Frozen and Nintendo’s Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

I already had the New Millennium Years (2000-2002), the Iraq War Years (2003-2006), and the Great Recession Years (2007-2009), but I have a hard time naming the 2010s eras. While decades may have the same stuff throughout a span of 10 years, the early decade in each decade may not feel the same as the late decade. For instance, the early 2010s and late 2010s were from the same decade, but if you looked at what happened in the news, what movies, shows, and games came out, or what were the dominant video game consoles, you can tell that the early, mid, and late eras from one decade are completely different eras.

Idk why I play team games they pretty much just enrage me 99% of the time

I wonder at which point should I stop mending my nephew's books with tape and just let his parents deal with the repercussion of throwing them away?

A "parking lot" is a lot for parking cars, whereas a "car park" is a park where cars can play.

(they're the same thing)

I never understood the concept of "Winning" yes you won a game thats cool but a lot of times I seen people use it as like bragging rights. Just like in real life if you lost in a game of sports, you want to show that you're a "Good Sport" meaning that you congratulate the other team who lost. The point is loosing in a game is part of learning. You can find out what you did wrong and how you can improve on it.

The way I handle loosing is that I give this reaction of "Oh well at least I tried" mentally so I don't feel too bad. I was never a fan of winning something because it just seemed like something that I would not want to see myself doing. I know that may sound weird to some people, but I just don't feel comfortable when I have people around me cheering me on and it makes me feel drained as an introvert.

I’m proud of myself for “adjusting” to my friend’s pronouns. I recently learned they started using he/they. I admittedly accidentally used she a few times, since the name they use is seen as more feminine. That doesn’t change the fact that they identify masculine and use he/they pronouns though. I’m trying my best and today I didn’t slip up.
