    You only get your installments on the days that you play. It's not based on the days that have passed on the calendar. The only way to get all your bells in one sitting is to pick the lump sum, but then you wouldn't get the 10% interest.

    I would never use the online island for beetle hunting (or any kind of hunting beyond specific items in the shop), unless I joined the island with trusted people. People are jerks and they will either bop you on the head, swing their axe at you, or scare any fish away.
