I just started playing ACNL last week 
It's my first AC game besides Happy Home Designer but so far it's really fun. I normally play Harvest Moon, Fantasy Life, Fashion Forward, Pokemon, The Sims. I like games where you can customize your character/town/skills/house so ACNL is right up my alley.
