    I nearly forgot you asked me but to get a vintage telescope you have to give a scallop to Pascal. Basically, when you go diving and find a scallop, Pascal will randomly appear and ask if you want to trade it for a piece of furniture. He gives you random furniture you can receive from him, one of which being a vintage telescope.

    Usually if it's your first time trading a scallop with him, he will give you a vintage telescope. Hope this helped :]
