That's okay, just come visit my town--do you know how to do that? if not I can explain--and then follow me to Lucky's house! Then, go inside, and he'll say something like "I'm not sure where I'm going yet..." and you should have an option to invite him to move into your town. After that he'll be moving in in the next couple of days, and you can either wait or change the in-game time to get him moved in.
