  • Hi. I just wanted you to know that Kidd was posted in the Villager Plaza for free. I hope you're able to get him for your son. :)
That's good. Just keep in mind that he will likely lose all the other villagers in the town. So you'd have to buy another one similar to Kidd, or get them from the campsite. I hope it all works out!
WoW this was incredibly helpful! I really appreciate your time and effort in helping us figure this out! I talked it over with him and cycle town it is! I hope he gets Kidd soon but either way I am glad he now knows how to do it! I hope you have an amazing day and again thank you so much!!!
Essentially, New Leaf saves the last 16 villagers to live in your town in a cache. You cannot have duplicateds in the cache. So you need to move sixteen villagers in and out before you can even buy Kidd or adopt hime from your campsite. Follow this thread to learn how to make a cycling town: http://www.belltreeforums.com/showthread.php?349624-Guide-All-About-Cycling-Towns-%26%2310141%3B-UPDATE-2-8-16

It may be a good idea to put on the beautiful town ordinance (to save your flowers and avoid cockroaches) while you cycle -- if you want to keep the town. If you're going to do a cycling town, you should probably post in the villager trading place so you can make some bells to help you buy Kidd in the future. You could even keep cycling until Kidd moves in again.

The other option would be to delete the town and start from scratch. Then keep deleting and remaking the town until Kidd is one of your original villagers.

    I hope that helped :)
Hi! I saw your post about Kidd. I just want to let you know that you have to cycle though sixteen villagers before you can get Kidd back. It's just a silly feature of the game. In the meantime, Kidd may show up in your son's downtown? If you really want him back, the best way is to time travel and speed up the cycling process
