  • Someone said you're wanting to take Stitches, how much? and could you take him by six pm eastern time tonig ht?
Thank you so much, I'll be on and off all day.
If I'm off and your ready just pm me so my phone with alert me :)
So sorry I didn't see your reply.
If it's still available i'm interested, if not sorry about that.
I would love to take him, but I have someone who is TTing Bangle out of their town for me and she would be my 10th villager :( If my town wasnt going to be full Id take him in a heartbeat. I wouldnt want to say I can take him and back out last minute because of that.
That's about what I was hearing from the exchange student I was friends with on campus, yeah. Except the Waitrose bit. I don't get that one xP

I'd still like to visit over there, though.
Oh, no, no, I have to explain it to other Americans I meet IRL. Make one casual joke about how you wish the US would switch over to Metric because Imperial's a pain in the butt, or about how you don't consider Obama the Antichrist just because you disagree with some of his policies, and get told that "if you don't like the way America is, you can leave". Gee, that seems unproductive. >>

(That turned into a rant, oops)
I just really love siblings that aren't mine <3 Someone /please/ tell Mama Holmes who shot her boy, though, she would rip Mary apart... Now if only the next season would come before I was in my grave or something. Sob.

And omfg I have to make that so clear so often. Even if some days I don't know why I bother.
I'm not going to spoil the canon connections since I don't know exactly which stories you've read (there are so many orders), but I sincerely doubt they just winged the reason when there's strong correlation like there is, let me just say that. It's too clever a show the rest of the time; I find it hard to believe they'd just catch the idiot ball for that one scene when they have so long to write it. And in the Sherlock universe, working "freelance" as an assassin usually means working for Moriarty. It just does. There's no avoiding the King. So I'm really excited for whatever will come to be her ending.

(I just noticed my last message did something stupid with my crying face...)

I want more Mama and Papa Holmes next season...they were precious. And Holmes brothers brothering was too great.
Creative and edgy...or cinematographically brilliant and really, really cool symbolic commentary on how Sherlock's mind works and some insight into his past? ("Redbeard" hurt me deeply oh man ;~;) I mean, if you want complete realistic logic, you have to throw out a lot of the episodes entirely as well as some of the case premises, and we don't have enough episodes to just go throwing 'em away. Drama fictions rarely obey purely conventional logical premises; if they did Magnussen could not exert the power that he does, for example. If my theories about Mary prove true, I have no reason to question her choice to kill Sherlock, or the way they framed her warning in the hospital as downright sinister.
(Amanda Abbington is the name you're looking for ^^) I loved and adored her as a Mary up until the moment in Magnussen's office. Because I'm sorry, but you don't put a bullet in someone's chest if you don't actually want them to die. I can't forgive her for making my baby endure that level of pain. :< And yes, you're absolutely right that Mary shouldn't be a focus. It's about John and Sherlock and occasionally crimes--always has been and will be (I'd say always the crimes but there were lots of canon examples of non-criminal cases Holmes and Watson wandered into).
If they were gonna go that route they'd have let the Victorian-era Christmas special be time travel and not just its own little bubble outside the main seasons, the way they've said it is. I'm not incredibly concerned about that; my main concern is that no one will make Mary go away, to be quite honest. I am thoroughly over her.
Yes! They're so good. Victorian lit in general is great. Though I think I'd have to have my reservations on Moffat's ruining Sherlock--I agree he's doing a bad job with Doctor Who, but part of that, based on what he's doing wrong and with some of the things he's said, I think is because he wants to leave his legacy there. He wants to be big and showy and impressive and put his mark on Doctor Who really badly. Whereas with Sherlock I'm not super worried about his egotism because a) Gatiss and Thompson have equal control and they alternate writing the episodes and b) It's already his legacy anyway--he and Gatiss came up with the idea, they had already planned all this out. He doesn't have to work so hard to make sure he's remembered.
I figured it was best not to derail the thread topic, so I came here to say thanks so much~ I fricking love this show and these books, so of course my town wound up having to be themed after it. :D
