  • What a funny coincidence! And that sounds beautiful. I just have my horde of Bowie albums to worship, and a fashion book about him. I always contributed to that constellation thing he got recently. I submitted "5.15 The Angels Have Gone", which was one of the first songs I listened to after I heard the news.
Well, somebody on Reddit is planning to put a candle out on his Hollywood Walk of Fame star on my behalf, and I'm currently attempting astral projection again, to help me accept his death and death in general. I, too, wish we could sit and talk about it together.
I know. It's amazing. I miss him a lot. I Can't Give Everything Away is so hard for me to listen to. The "I know something's very wrong" line just kills me.
I remember you, yes! Same here. I've just felt awful about the whole situation. It feels like a part of me has been torn away or something. Still crying.
Hey, thanks! Oh, and yes, well, I'm sure you could look just as fabulous. The Next Day is amazing. What's your favourite song from it?
Yes, they must. I got into music thanks to OK Computer so I have to say that that one is my favorite. Although, In Rainbows is right up there as well. As for a single song, I really love The National Anthem. And don't get me started on the b-sides! A Reminder, How I Made My Millions, Palo Alto, Fog (the fullband version), Where Bluebirds Fly etc. etc.
I've seen them live once (2001 I believe it was during the Amnesiac tour), and they played Permanent Daylight which was quite a rare treat.
Sorry for nerding off like this but Radiohead is serious business. :)
I haven't really researched Tin Machine enough to get into them, but my favourite album from Bowie is probably The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, though I really like The Next Day. Choosing a favourite track is impossible, in my case.
I know, right? I felt the same when I first listened to it. And yes, I love that era! I love them all, really. He's amazing. Oh, and thank you! I thought I needed a change.
Well, I have a little tool which generates a QR code for whatever image you want, so I just got a bunch of David Bowie album cover art and converted them. Right now, the Hunky Dory cover art is my town flag. Hey, we've got so much in common!
Hey, I'd love that! I even have some David Bowie patterns I can decorate with. Whenever you're able to, just let me know. I'm on most of the time.
