Hm, really? That's something I didn't know about the tablets. I've never used other brands, but my old tablet was a bamboo and sometimes it would be stupid and not detect pressure. Only restarting the computer or re-installing the drivers helped. This new tablet, which is an intuos (don't confuse it with the intuo pro, which is what you have), hasn't run into that problem yet. XD

I never got the hotkeys, they never were useful for me. Heck, I dunno how to use them. Because I got the cheapest intuos, it has no built in eraser in the pen or touch features, but I don't care for them anyway, so it's fine with me.

Whoo! Yay! Glad it only was something minor. OMG, yes the Cintiqs are ridiculously expensive... Not that I'd get one, even if I had the money, but still... XD Really? Hm, like are there more levels of sensitivity? I dunno how the Cintiqs compare in that aspect, but know between the other tablets Wacom makes, their pro ones have like 1k more levels of pen sensitivity than the cheaper models.

To be honest, what is the advantage with having more levels? I've never tried the Pro tablets, just the regular ones, so I have no way to compare the two. XD And yay!!! Can't wait to see both portrait and sketch~ <33

Never heard of that brand before. Is it a good company? That seriously sucks that the screen stays black. D: The only thing that I can think of is that something overheated, so it won't start, but that's all I got.

That would suck if you had to buy a new one. Hopefully, that won't be the case. What did tech support say when you contacted them or are ya still waiting to hear back? Though, if it was a lost cause, you have a backup computer you can use your Wacom tablet on? That would be better than having to spend the money on a brand new tablet monitor from that company.

If it's the pen, unless it's from a really old model, like mine was, you might wanna consider getting a new tablet.

I dunno if you have the tablet now known as the Wacom Intuos Pro or a Wacom Bamboo, which is now known as the Wacom Intuos tablet. With the Intuos Pro, I don't think newer models have come out, but if they have, I think the pens are compatible across versions. With the Intuos (formally Bamboo) ones, their pens are definitely not compatible across the different iterations.
