Time travelling will affect the date a villager moves out. When given a moving date from the villager, they are actually counting how many days remain until they leave - not the date itself. If you time travel back and forth between two days, the villager will count those days, and the moving date they provided before will change to a sooner date depending on how many times you've traveled back and forth. As such we recommend that if you time travel, check in on your villager every single day to check and see if they are packed up."

AHHH! After I found out she was moving on the 31st, I saw Gracie in my town. In an attempt to pass the fashion check multiple times, I used the time travel method.
