    TL;DR: It's the people involved that makes me kinda feel iffy. Save file corruption on the other hand, I think I wouldn't let anyone ever see that error message if I could. Reading corrupted saves on twitter (JP twitter) makes me feel sad and upset. Losing 300+ hours and a lot of effort is so discouraging!

    Kind of the same with me. To this day the Pokemon hacker I mentioned is gloating about trading hacks in an anti hack group, to a bunch of noobs who don't give a crap.

    That's unfortunate and scummy. While I openly accepted genned mons in Reddit (not into battling but wanted shiny JP dittos to breed Pokes with) I was aware and informed that these are genned. If they didn't disclose they were hacked/ genned and doing that in an anti-hacking group, that's kinda douchy of them ngl. I'm not sure if this is their "gottem" joke or w.e

    Hey, just wanted to thank you for taking your time to warn people about the save-corrupting issues and for translating all those tweets with evidence that the problem is very real (which shouldn't be needed but we always have a few who are very skeptical when it comes to this).

    I really just want more people to be careful and not be discouraged. Everyone is so nice and cooperative when I interviewed them so I felt the need to tell others to avoid it. The pandemic is stressing everyone out and this is one of the escapes. I feel real bad that this adds stress to some (as evident to few JP tweets)...while I can't exactly solve the problem, at least this is something I can do!

    I didn’t want to post in your thread incase I clogged it up but 16 HOURS!!!! Oh my god hahah. That’s actually crazy!! You should email Nintendo detailing them what you had to go through, surely that’s enough to persuade them to include an app haha

    Honestly, I doubt Nintendo will listen and I have a feeling they're aware of it. They just want to stifle any stuff like this. Though, this would be remedied if we had an ABD app.
